Eight decades ago, Lawrence Ellul (Senior) acquired a tract of land and commenced the first Ellul soft stone quarry. The venture continued to become a family concern in the true sense as Ellul's sons and grandsons followed in his footsteps, and continued to add to their expertise also in building and excavation work.
Through sheer dedication and sound business acumen, the Ellul Brothers flourised and expanded into one of the foremost civil engineering and building contracting companies, Elbros Construction Limited was formally set up in 1989.
In due course, Elbros Construction Limited realised that materials used in the construction industry had to be produced internally. As a consequence concrete supply, prestressed precast elements and even steel structures fabrication were individually produced/manufactured by newly formed related companies within the Ebcon Group of companies. These developments meant that the Group could offer various types of services utilizing these materials and therefore the dependence on supplies by others was reduced considerably.
Work Force
Our company is made up of long experienced workers, on heavy plant equipment and heavy steel work. The employees are also skilled in mechanical and technical work most of them having over 20 years of experience in this sector.
On a regular basis, our workers are trained with the latest technology upgrades in various sectors. We also provide on-the-job training for apprentices together with the Employment and Training Corporation, we provide such training at our workshops and on the job in order for young people to enhance their future career in this sector.
We ensure that our workers work in a safe and healthy environment and are all provided with safety equipment to ensure that injuries are kept to a minimum as much as possible.
